Patterns in Photos

Photography is an art form but there are a lot of technical details which go into making the photography amazing. In fact a lot of it is mathematics. Starting from leading lines to the Fibonacci series to hyperfocal distance. If all of that is making you sweat don't worry. A lot of it as simple as addition and subtraction. So here is an easy tip to pull off. Recurring patterns - These are easy to find and are pleasing to the eyes.

Here is an example of one. Though a lot of other things are going on in this composition but for the most part this is a case of repeating patterns. After every few intervals there is a line. You can use this  even in case of landscapes with trees being the recurring feature. Try it next time you are out and about shooting.
